Bill was born December 8, 1928, in Admiral, Texas to Lloyd and Mary Lee Gary. He grew up in Admiral, Texas with his parents and 8 siblings. Bill was always a very hard worker and the backbone to his family. He worked as a police officer foe a year, and then worked in the oilfield for over 70 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and most of all being surrounded by his family and friends. Bill was a very humble man with a huge heart, and would always be the man you could go to with a problem and he would help you the best he could. Anytime his family or friends needed him he was there for them no matter the circumstance, but would definitely speak his opinion and let you know really quick if he didn’t agree with what you were doing. But most of all he loved his kids, grandkids, great grandkids and great great grandkids. He loved when everyone would get together as a family. Bill was married for 71 years to his wife Nelda Gary and had a love for each other that was everlasting.

Survivors are his wife Nelda of Cisco, daughter Linda Wells and husband James of Cisco. Son Benny Gary of Post Oak, Texas and Billy J. Gary and wife Tiffany of Cisco. Daughter, Lorrie Micheal Hollis of Abilene. Thirteen grandchildren, Thirty-five great grandchildren and Twelve great great grandchildren. Many great nieces and nephews as well as a host of other family and friends. Four brothers and Two sisters.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Mary Lee and two sisters Raynell and Virginia.
