My Uncle Harvey was a very fun-loving and wonderful Uncle. I believe he truly loved all his nieces and nephews, along with all his immediate family. While in World War II, he sent my Mom, his sister, Velma Gregg, a Swiss Watch and a lovely gold-tone bracelet, which I am now the proud owner of. He also sent my older sister, Pat, and me gifts from overseas too - each of us a beautiful doll from either Holland or Switzerland and one is now in possession of Pat's daughter, Cindy. My Uncle Harvey also gave me a doll on my 6th birthday that I had asked my Mom for, but she said, "no" - well, Uncle Harvey said "yes" and I kept that doll for many of my adult years, until she melted in the attic. We will all miss Uncle Harvey but thankful for his life here on earth and know that we will see him in Heaven again someday.
