Clay and Danni Jacobs

Owners

Clay and Danni Jacobs have owned Parker-Jacobs Funeral Home since August 2019, and purchased Kimbrough Funeral Home in Cisco in January 2023. Clay served as a funeral director and General Manager at Funeral homes in the Abilene area prior to purchasing Parker Funeral Home in Baird. Danni is a dental hygienist, and has worked for Dr. Mark Sivley since 1998. The couple views funeral service as ministry, striving to continue the care given to families of Cisco and the surrounding areas by Brad Kimbrough.

Clay Jacobs

Funeral Director & Embalmer

Clay was raised in the farming community of New Home, Texas. After retiring from a 22-year career with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, he completed his degree in mortuary science from Amarillo College, and has worked as a funeral director at funeral homes in the Abilene area. Clay is a licensed minister and sings Christian Country music. He and his wife, Danni, love spending time with their kids, Gilbert and Rachel, and granddaughters Ellie Jo and Faye Danielle.

Avelon Wende

Administrative Assistant

Avelon has been a familiar face at Kimbrough Funeral Home for many years, and we are blessed to have her continue to serve at Kimbrough-Jacobs. From greeting those coming into the funeral home, to helping with services, and all things in between, she is a vital part the service we provide.
